Late last month, the final beam was put into place on the massive, towering structure at Broad Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue on Temple’s North Philly campus. Temple’s latest residential complex will become a welcome addition to the ever-changing Philly skyline. The complex rises upwards of 27 stories. The building’s namesakes, alumni Mitchell and Hilarie Morgan, have been longtime supporters of the university. Their latest gift of $5 million aided in financing the hall.
Morgan Hall will provide residence for 1,200 students and will offer four-student suites with a full kitchen, shared living space, and two bathrooms. The complex also includes a large L-shaped, 10-story residential structure that will offer a dining facility and retail space along Broad Street. Continue reading
